ROLE OF MARKETING IN DAY-TO-DAY LIFE
July 18, 2022

The effects already had on my daily life have amazed me. Marketing is a profession that has many implications on your day-to-day life, such as making everyone you meet feel like a possible customer and realizing the importance of marketing for businesses of all sizes.
Role of marketing
There are three main functions to know about marketing and advertising.
- First, there is the dissemination of knowledge and ideas, which is primarily cognitive or logical. This particular form of advertising is used to introduce new goods or advertisements, and it makes use of strategies like catchy slogans and jingles like Sing along...
- The development or stabilization of attitudes and feelings of preference and sympathy comes next. It is surrounded by comparative, persuasive, and visual advertising.
- The final purpose is the induction of the action, which justifies the product purchase and is thus behavioral.
Making decisions on what to do
We have to make decisions so many times a day that I can't even begin to count. If you spend a few minutes examining it, the concept of countless goods, services, and life decisions being made every day - some of them even without much thought - would be the consequence.
What do I need to wear?
Which food should I eat?
What will I be doing today?
Which college should I pick?
Will I purchase my coffee from my neighborhood coffee shop, Starbucks, or McCafe?
Particularly, judgments involving products and services are now ordinary actions taken automatically every day, which contribute to the movement of the economies of towns, nations, and ultimately the entire planet.
You begin to consider ideas for your friends.
Your mental picture of each of your friends' personal brands will begin to take shape. Whether it's your weightlifting, Big Night Out friend or your sportswear, nutrients, yoga friend, you'll learn to identify and know their own brands inside and out. Additionally, specify who and how you would sell them to.
You begin to consider everyone as a possible customer.
You'll believe that practically every business you come across might benefit from some marketing assistance, from the corner store where you purchase milk that could need a re-brand to the independent gift shop that needs placement to your neighborhood bar that desperately needs a social media makeover. I like to refer to these as "creative recommendations," but it's usually best to keep them to yourself unless they specifically request them to avoid being kicked out of your area.
Conclusion
To put it another way, I'm saying that whether we like it or not, marketing affects almost every second of our lives.
